Inspired by the Brotherhood Work Weekend that has been going on for decades, several years ago the first Women’s Work Weekend was created! In partnership with the Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) Heartland District, camp moms, grandmothers, camper and staff alumni and all friends of GUCI gather for a weekend of fun, meaningful work to help prepare camp for summer.
We do incredibly valued projects such as preparing our garden for the summer, painting and organizing around camp and getting our camp looking beautiful!
While we work hard, we also play hard and partake in a beautiful weekend with delicious food and drinks, Shabbat, music and a special Saturday night social activity!

Dates: Friday, May 17 – Sunday, May 19
Please plan to arrive as early as you can on Friday and depart after noon on Sunday. You are welcome to stay the night at camp on Thursday evening as well, though no programming will begin until Friday.*

Cost: $18
Fee covers all meals, special dinner, drinks, room and linens, Saturday evening activity and more.
