My name is Natalie Neer Hart and I’m excited to begin my fourth summer at GUCI as the camper care specialist for Kallah Aleph. In this role, I work to provide emotional support for campers (and counselors) and help counselors facilitate appropriate interventions with their campers. GUCI has been wonderful about creating an environment that is accommodating and supportive of the diverse needs and abilities of the young people in our care, and I am pleased to help coordinate these efforts. As a camp parent myself – with two kids in Garin this summer – I especially enjoy communicating with parents throughout to summer to share what I see from a parent’s perspective.

Although I was never a camper here at GUCI, I spent several summers at OSRUI in Wisconsin as both a camper and counselor. Years later, I became a camp director in New York before moving to Phoenix, Arizona where I currently live with my husband (a proud GUCI alumnus) and our two kids. When I am not here I GUCI, I work as a social worker at a large urban high school, a career I have enjoyed for the past 20 years.
