Shalom! My name is Gavi Ballaban and I am the Gezah Unit Head at GUCI this summer! I just graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood Education. Next year, I will be teaching fifth and sixth grade math at a Cincinnati Public School. I am originally from Cincinnati, but grew up in Atlanta. I have been coming to camp since 2002, and this is my second year as Gezah Unit Head.

I come back to camp each year because this is the place where I can always feel comfortable. Through moves and changes, GUCI is a constant in my life that I can come back to. I know the friendships I make here are strong. Coming back to GUCI as a staff member has given me positive career experience and is more fun than I can ever explain.
