GUCI in Color

Yom Sport, our camp color war, is always one of campers’ favorite days during the session. Campers are divided into different colors and spend the day enjoying healthy competition. Teams create cheers about their colors and the Yom Sport theme, which was Harry Potter this time around (referred to as Yom Kesem, day of magic). It is truly magical watching everyone come together to have fun! Older campers help younger campers, teams encourage each other and many campers make new friends they wouldn’t have otherwise. Our GUCI community is always strong, but even divided into teams, Yom Sport has a way of bringing everyone together. After talking with campers today, it’s apparent that Yom Sport is much more than just another day at camp. What some of our campers, avodahnikim and staff shared about their favorite part of the day is proof that there is magic behind Yom Sport.
