Supporting GUCI’s Fundraising Efforts

The Goldman Union Camp Institute (GUCI) fundraising efforts consist of generous contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations. Donations help support GUCI’s scholarship fund, which eases the burden on hundreds of families each summer, making it possible for even more children to experience GUCI.  There are many ways to support GUCI; we welcome your participation.

Get Involved
Volunteers are an important part of GUCI’s mission and play a key role in the organization’s operation. We are always looking for passionate, committed individuals dedicated to helping advance our mission. Volunteer positions are available on our Alumni Committee,  Development Committee and with various projects around camp. Please contact Rachel Waldorf at  for more information about volunteer opportunities.

Make a Donation
GUCI gratefully appreciates donations of any amount. GUCI, as part of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Gifts can be made via check, over the phone or online.

Host a Parlor Meeting
Host or co-host a gathering in your home, office or another location to bring together people with an interest in learning more about camp. GUCI staff will support your efforts by providing email/letter templates, marketing materials and a speaker for your event.

Include GUCI in your Estate Plans
Planned giving with a testamentary gift is an important and meaningful way to support GUCI beyond one’s lifetime.  Giving can be made through a variety of ways including donation of an insurance policy, IRA or charitable gift annuity.

Become a Corporate Partner
Corporate partnership arrangements are meaningful and personalized to meet both the funding needs of GUCI and funding priorities of your company. Recognition opportunities may include listing on website and social media outlets, and in other print and electronic communications.

GUCI staff are available to help you create giving opportunities that are meaningful and personal. To speak with someone directly, please contact Rachel Waldorf at For additional information about GUCI, please visit us online.
